institutions and in their communities. Project 180 is a leader in the forensic treatment space, offering
high-quality, specialized treatment programs that serve thousands of justice-involved individuals. Our
programs span criminal justice intercepts and include pre-arrest interventions, court-based diversions, jail in-reach, and intensive post-release services. Project 180 operates in partnership with County agencies including the Department of Mental Health (DMH), the Department of Health Services (DHS), and the Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD).
The Program
The Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) program is funded by the Department of Health
Service (DHS) Office of Diversion and Reentry (ODR), the ODR/ICMS program provides intensive
wraparound services to the high-need/high-barrier behavioral health population in the LA County jail
system. The program provides permanent supportive housing for some of the most underserved or highest utilizers in the county system. Services are delivered through a recovery-oriented, harm-reduction framework.
The Position
The Clinical Supervisor oversees clinical service delivery in Project 180’s ICMS Project Based Housing
program, an innovative program that provides on-site wrap-around behavioral health treatment to
approximately 200 individuals. Services are delivered at 3 unique apartment buildings located in
Westlake, South Los Angeles and Willowbrook The supervisor will provide direct clinical supervision to
program therapists. This position reports to the Project Based Housing Program Manager and is
responsible for leading the clinical team to deliver high-quality service and program outcomes,
coordinating day-to-day program operations with DHS/ODR, and integrating local operations with all
program policies and expectations. This is an interim position and will end in December 2025. At the
conclusion of this position, we will be willing to explore other opportunities within our organization, but
cannot guarantee any opportunities.
Essential Functions:
Provide direct clinical supervision to ensure high-quality service delivery and outcomes
Required:
Supervisor will provide clinical supervision to a team of approximately 10 therapists.
Environmental Conditions (Working Conditions)
Supervisor will be based in a project based housing site and will need to perform job duties throughout
the building as well as in the Project 180 office and in field settings.
Physical Requirements
The employee is expected to move about the project based housing site throughout the day, which may
involve walking, standing, and climbing stairs, or using a mobility device, or similar. The employee is
expected to drive, carry a maximum of 20 lbs, listen, and speak in order to complete job requirements.
Mental Requirements
The employee must be able to do any/all of the following: perform complex and varied tasks such as
synthesizing information and making decisions without immediate supervision; handle routine
distractions, interruptions, noise, and uncontrollable changes in priorities/work schedules; interact
professionally and diplomatically in high-stress situations; create and follow plans; meet deadlines.

Essential Functions:
Provide direct clinical supervision to ensure high-quality service delivery and outcomes
- Participate in hiring, onboarding and training clinical staff, with support from Senior Supervisor and Program Manager as appropriate
- Supervise staff to meet performance expectations. Provide regular coaching and feedback. Participate in annual performance reviews.
- Monitor data on staff performance and site outcomes. Proactively identify and address issues in order to meet local program goals.
- Ensure clinical service delivery is consistent with legal and ethical standards.
- Help staff troubleshoot challenging client-service situations through weekly clinical supervision, ad-hoc coaching, and direct intervention as needed
- Provide ongoing clinical consultation and clinical oversight of high risk cases.
- Cultivate strong team culture and staff retention
- Apply racial equity lens to all elements of clinical supervision.
- Collaborate regularly with the Project Based Housing Program Manager to report progress, escalate issues or concerns, and provide input into program policy decisions.
- Facilitate effective collaboration and with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Develop and implement ongoing clinical training for Project Based Housing staff in areas of focus (ie. mental health and substance recovery, harm reduction, trauma informed care)
- Oversee team clinical documentation and ensure staff compliance with documentation expectations.
- Understand and ensure faithful implementation of all program policies, norms, and requirements
- Serve as the primary contact for external stakeholders for the site. Build and maintain strong working relationships with DHS/ODR clinical leadership.
- Internalize contract requirements and ensure they are understood and met by the team.
- Regular attendance required. Overtime, holiday or weekend work may be required.

- Maintain active license and/or registrations as applicable (ie BBS, CCAPP)

Required:
- LCSW/LMFT/LPCC with 2+ years of post-licensure experience
- Previous experience supervising mental health or case management programs in a relevant context (forensic/court-based, county-operated mental health, or similar program).
- Experience working with culturally diverse populations.
- Valid CA driver’s license, proof of insurance and own vehicle required.
